Review:
I went with the films did not really want to see this movie, I thought it was a girly film, one that had more technical skills, not history. I was surprised more than anything I could imagine. I have seen many movies in my time, but this movie just my storm. Its uniqueness, ironically enough, because it is based on the real situation is a refreshing change from the usual Hollywood movies. This film provides brilliant (pardon the pun) an insight into the many facets of a genius at work. This movie touched me on many levels. Psychology film is exciting, the mathematical philosophy actually true from my own experience, and the icing on the cake to make the film highlights a surprisingly humanistic side of love. While love is common in most films, the interaction of these issues with other aspects of the plot planned phenomenlly. As for the cast, I have never noticed a real difference in skill between the many actors / actresses before. As Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise, etc., but I would not be able to determine the performance of classical actors. But Russell Crowe in the film showed me how to act in a way where I was in awe of their skills in playing the character, especially when considering the extreme contrast of the characters in his other films as Gladiator and The Insider. Russell Crowe was one of the major reasons why this film was so brilliant. In addition to the outstanding performance of Jennifer Connelly, Ed Harris and Adam Goldberg, and this is the perfect movie. A Beautiful Mind was arguably the most original, intelligent and entertaining movie I've ever seen. And it's from the movie I did not expect great things from. Kudos to Ron Howard, the cast and crew of this film. It is worthy of an Oscar, and Russell Crowe is certainly most deserving of the production team to miss the top honors. Maybe politics played a larger role than I had thought before.
