Review:
I grew up watching Arnold, I have all his movies, I'm what you call a big fan Schwarzenegger. I waited a decade to return to his films, and I was not disappointed. Last Stand is not complete, but the Arnold fans can rejoice, because it is really back! Columns (for those who havent watched the trailer several times that I) is Mexico's cartel boss (Eduardo Noriega) has escaped custody during transport and head to the border of Mexico and going to get through the sleepy town of Sommerton, Arizona. Arnold is the sheriff of this sleepy little town, and it is the last hope to stop FBI ruthless gangster. This film is full of intense action, bloody, exciting car chase (thank you for power supped up Corvette ZR1 and more than a thousand!) And funny coatings. the film never takes too high (which is a good thing) and is surprisingly funny everywhere. Arnolds game is a little rusty, but more than offset in the exposure action. And (much) the action sequences were exciting and bloody theater kept cheering. pace was perfect, the cast flew by.The film was a great ... Luis Guzman is hilarious as Arnolds Deputy Forest Whitaker as lead FBI agent, Peter Stormare as a manic villain's right hand man, Johnny Knoxville as the town clown, Harry Dean Stanton as capricious old farmer, the list goes on ... The film was everything I wanted to film Arnold, pleasure (!) Lots of fast paced action and a lot of (funny) of a ship. Non-Arnold fan probably will not get much of it, but this film was made for Arnold fans, and it delivers.
